About me


After training at Leith’s School of Food & Wine aged 16, I went on to gain valuable experience at some of the capital’s best restaurants including Le Gavroche and Bibendum. I was lucky enough to be mentored by "the godfather of modern British cookery 'Alastair Little.' I've also run the kitchens at Paramount Pictures HQ, Gail's and most recently was Operations Director at Crucial Food based at the prestigious Hogarth Club. 


Put simply, I adore being a chef and I love nothing more than working with quality produce to create delicious, healthy and nutritious food for my clients.


The onset of Covid-19 resulted in many friends, contacts and family asking me to cook for them. Being able to bring to bear all that I had learned throughout my career for their nutritional benefit and wellbeing was inspirational.


My fridge fill service took off with people working from home and trying to juggle everything so outsourcing meal prep was an obvious choice. I created the Jules the Foodie delivery menu from client menu requests that still prove popular.


This has led to the creation of Nourish + Thrive; a chef-prepared healthy meal plan with flavour high on the priority list and a wealth of ingredients to keep the menu interesting and varied. These are not diets but balanced, nutritional menus which provides you breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and an evening meal.
